Up North

It all started when…

We as Imaculado Film had won a REDCINE award, one as best cinematography, and another one as best Short Film, and that gave us one RED Helium camera, and one full package for a filmmaker for tree weeks.

We had this idea to make a film about a surfer who does not fit society, someone that disillusioned about everything, and now was searching for meaning and direction, and in order to find he must go north.

We finally met someone that was very special, his name is Joackim Guichard, a special surfer and soul from Portugal, he not only loved the idea, but he deeply resonated with the film.

And then we started our journey to make this special and personal film.
